• No need to heat base oil or the blend vessel, therefore thinner grade metal or even plastic tanks can be used
• Low minimum blend volumes - JIT for slow moving/low volume lines = less potential waste
• Equipment is recyclable
• Only requires circa 100kg of base oil to flush out system between blends, therefore lowering the quantity of waste oil generated
• Can help a business achieve carbon neutral blending from it source and processes NOT from offsetting - Evidenced by energy audit
